Meet Kyle
Back in 1995, Kyle stepped onto UNK’s campus as a new believer and an incoming freshman. Ten years later, he returned and worked for a college ministry at that very same campus! He helped college students, just like him, come to know and follow Jesus. Fast forward a little more, to April of 2024 — Kyle, his wife, and five children said yes to moving in order to plant Citylight Kearney.
Kyle loves his family! He enjoys listening to and playing music, having a good cup of coffee, reading a compelling book, throwing a ball, or riding a paddleboard with his dogs Chase and Sully. He is a part-time DJ, a die-hard Husker fan, and loves calling high school football games on the radio!
Meet Tyler
Tyler is new to the CityLight Family but has been doing ministry in Kearney for over a decade. He loves Kearney and his church family! He is also incredibly excited about the impact the church family will make on the next generation through Salt Co. He and his wife Karmen have been married for 25 years, and have 5 kids who span from ten to twenty-one years old.
Some of Tyler's favorites include: kombucha, cooking, and adventuring to places he's never been before!
